Terminal does not turn on/start

  • Try removing the battery for a minute and reinstalling it. If you have multiple terminals, test with a battery from a working terminal to isolate the issue.

  • Press and hold the power button for more than 20 seconds.

  • Try charging the terminal with a different charger that you know works, or connect another device to the current charger to verify it's functioning properly.

  • Press the power button and volume down button together. This should load the firmware booting mode. If this works, the issue is software or firmware related.

  • Examine the terminal for any potential physical damage such as cracks, dents, noticeable scratches, or water exposure.

  • If the terminal still does not work, contact Martins Mazlazdins to arrange a replacement.

MAC invalid

Go to Settings, then Connections on the terminal and select Cycle Keys or Generate Keys.

If cycling keys doesn't resolve the issue, check your setup configuration. Ensure there are no special symbols such as ü used in the parameters.

Unauthorized (AW) timeout on receipt

The TID, MID, or country code may be incorrect. Verify all three parameters with your terminal (the merchant can cycle keys afterward). An unstable internet connection can also cause this issue.

"TID already exists" - TID does not register on PAX store when adding terminal

This means the TID is already in use somewhere in the PAX system, not necessarily by Paynt. Leave the TID field blank when adding the terminal to the store, and only add the TID when you are installing apps.

Printing blank or empty receipts

  • Check the paper orientation and try flipping the paper roll. The A920 and A920 Pro use thermal paper, which only prints on one side.

  • Clean the printer head.

  • Ensure the battery is above 10%.

  • Replace the paper roll.

App is not installing or shows endless installation

Check the terminal's firmware version and update it if it's outdated. Then try pushing the latest version of the app.

Why not update to the latest Paydroid version 10?

Terminals should remain on the Paydroid version they were provided with by the retailer. Do not upgrade the terminal to the latest Paydroid version simply because it's available.

How to upload your app to PAX store

Apps are uploaded to TMS through the developer portal. Contact [email protected] for assistance.

Can MID and TIDs be reused?

The same MID can be used on multiple terminals. However, the same TID cannot be used on multiple terminals.

Can a terminal from another retailer be used with Paynt PAX store?

You can add a terminal from another retailer to Paynt's PAX store if that terminal is not bound to a specific store (check restrictions from the retailer) and has not already been added to another store.

Is there a VPN for terminals?

No, there is no VPN available for terminals.
